In week 4 we had our school Cross Country. After weeks of training we had a perfect day for it. Mrs Ashford was very impressed with the determination and perseverance displayed by Room 16 in their running events.

We did very well in placing Zek, Aston,William, Casen, Tyler, Ollie, Brielle, Zsanett, and Ellie in the Top ten.

Zek, Casen, Brielle and Ellie all went on to represent the school in the Cross Country Zone competition.

Over the last few weeks Room 16 have all been working very hard to write, and present to the class, persuasive speeches. After holding a class semi final and voting Aston and Alariah became our two finalists to represent our class in the Year 5 & 6 Speech Finals. To our delight, (although we weren't surprised) Alariah placed 2nd and Aston placed 3rd. 
A terrific outcome for Room 16 and we were all very proud of them.
